Had brekkie here this morning, after trying a could of others in the Kangaroo Point area over the past few days....should&#39;ve come here first! Extensive menu, huge portions, delicious food, quick service AND the coffee was excellent ☕️ Highly recommended, in a great spot too. Well done SB Deli

Story Bridge Deli & Cafe

A small fresh Japanese restaurant, the fried beef inside is delicious, the price is a little more expensive, sushi is not bad, but the salmon sushi is generally, the rainbow roll and I are really good.

Other restaurants could learn a lesson on what genuine warmth, engagement, friendliness, fantastic service and excellent food at a reasonable price are all about. An extraordinarily high standard that, sadly is missing at many restaurants today.

From the moment me and my wife arrived we felt welcomed and comfortable the service was great the menu was well put together and easy to use and the drinks menu was well organised we both had 2 cocktails each 5x small plates of food Our favourite was the swordfish and the the salmon overall a lovely night. we will definitely be coming back.

Today I had lunch in the medley with three friends and our food was so bad that it was almost impossible to eat. I had a special one day dish, a soft salad made from grated papaya and carrots, with three prawns in it for just $23. I don&rsquo;t know what the seasoning is because it tastes nothing. I suspect the chef tried to eat them before the prawns went, and he didn&rsquo;t even give them veins to add to the damage. It tasteless and disappointing. The only thing that saved Grace was a good cup of coffee. Our waitress was also inexperienced, vague and unfocused. Before serving the main course, she cleaned my coffee cup but left my friends to take the cups and teapots themselves to make room on the table when the food arrived, and then brought only three side boards instead of four. Too bad because this place is beautifully located on the river, but I definitely won&#39;t be going back.

Been for both a dinner and a lunch. Food is surprisingly good and the portion sizes are large. Owing to the popularity at dinner the staff were stretched, but our order was accurate, but a little slow. At lunch the staff were more able to cope with numbers and our order was served more quickly. Range of drinks is extensive.

We had breakfast for a family of 4. The coffee was delicious - hot and strong; and the French toast was something else. Brioche dipped and gently fried with a generous serve of strawberries delicately placed inside to give sweetness and tart. This was finished off with whipped ricotta and a small jug of maple syrup. Amazing! (It was also enough for 2 adults - but I don&#39;t eat much in the morning; just need good coffee!) My children enjoyed fresh croissants with ample jam and butter. I whole-heartily recommend this delightful cafe. Tip: head through the store to sit out the back.

Outstanding fresh, healthy selection of food ( salads unusual and delicious) served in generous proportions either eating there or to take away. My breakfast was brilliant and served by very experienced, efficient, friendly staff. Great coffee topped it off- so good that I had a second cup! A small courtyard is extremely popular and tables I noted were reserved. Small tables of two or three inside and also outside on the pavement. A wonderful array of deli produce arranged to tempt guests. A wheelchair or stroller would hamper movement in the confined space inside but both were accommodated at tables outside.. Repeatedly locals were warmly greeted by name and the energetic ambience of this excellent cafe is a two way interaction of the host, chefs, waiter staff and patrons. Every time I go to Brisbane, I will take time to visit. A bonus is a megered public car park to the side and behind the building. Brilliant!.

Unnamed shop, but bring us sweet memories. I don&#39;t like pie, I don&#39;t like apples, but I love apple pie here. I like it.

My friend had ben here some time ago and thought it was still table service so we sat down after confirming that lunch was still being served. It was very quiet but nobody let us know to order at the counter. Evetually we went to order and the rude woman said oh its not been table service for a few months - thanks for telling us after we had worked it out. I asked about the size of the portion of a main course and she simply repeated what was stated on the menu - thanks love I can read too she was obtuse when I asked for a large coffee making out that I had asked for a take away cup which I had not The food and coffee arrived quickly and was brought out by a very pleasant lady. My barra burrito was okay but the sauce was too spicy and completely overpowered the fish which could not be tasted There are plenty of choices to eat around this area. I will not be coming back here
